Cardiff University School of Optometry and Vision Sciences is recruiting advanced clinical optometrists to teach in the South West Wales ‘Teach and Treat’ clinics in Singleton and/or Neath Port Talbot hospital.
We are seeking to employ a number of optometrists on a part time basis to be involved in helping develop optometrists to be ready to deliver enhanced services. They will work in ‘Teach and Treat’ clinics in Singleton and/ or Neath Port Talbot hospital supervising optometrists on placements for their Higher Professional Qualifications.

Low vision accreditation is desired but not essential.
You will have access to OCT and fields machines, a camera and a new Rodenstock DNEye scanner.

Davies & Lowry Optometrists are looking for a regular locum Optometrist for our practice in Church Village, Nr Pontypridd, 20 mins from Cardiff, 10 mins from M4.
We pride ourselves on our patient care with our main focus to give the best advice we can. We provide IP and low vision services and are involved in local HB shared care schemes.
We have an extremely experienced and skilled team who work together to support each other. Our practice is well equipped including Maestro OCT and Optix patient management system.
We are looking for a locum for regular 1 day a week and would welcome any Optoms with higher quals, including supporting those who may want to provide IP services. We offer ½ appt times, longer for IP new appts.
